 To provide direct access on potential business partnerships with Philippine cities, LCP hosted a dinner event for the Italian Trade and Investment Mission to the Philippines last November 22, 2012 in Makati City. The 28-member high profile delegation was led by Confindustria, Italy’s biggest association of manufacturing and services companies.  LCP inks a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Canadian Executive Service Organization to help cities improve their development planning along areas of agriculture and tourism development.  During the last National Executive Board (NEB) meeting on May 26, 2012 in Puerto Princessa City, LCP raised some issues and fiscal concerns of its member-cities to the Department of Finance (DOF). It was an opportune time for LCP to also articulate policy bottlenecks and implementation gaps that concern local governments.
