More than 70 participants from the local government associations (LGAs) in Cambodia – the National League of Commune Sangkat (NLCS) - and Vietnam – the Association of Cities in Vietnam (ACVN) - participated in the three-day event to discuss new strategic agenda for local economic development in the ASEAN region.

The LCP, DENR-River Basin Control Office (DENR-RBCO) and the host city Marikina are organizing the 2014 International River Summit on November 19-21, 2014 in Marikina City. We encourage our member-cities to participate and present their local innovations on river management during the summit proper. You may submit an abstract and get a chance to present your good practice on river governance before a global audience.
