October 20, 2020 - Quezon City

Join the League of Cities of the Philippines and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) in supporting our local filmmakers by taking part in the 4th Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP4).

PPP is FDCP’s flagship film festival that features week-long exclusive screenings of Filipino films in all theaters nationwide with no foreign films during its run. Since 2017, PPP has successfully showcased a total of thirty-three (33) films, garnered more than 2.5 million audiences, and grossed over PHP 420 million in total box office.

PPP features titles from local film festivals like the Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival, QCinema International Film Festival, Cinema One Originals Film Festival, Sinag Maynila Film Festival, CineFilipino Film Festival, ToFarm Film Festival, and Metro Manila Film Festival as well as from various producers and regional film festivals, a PPP Retrospective, the Lab portion of the Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition, and the CineMarya Women’s Film Festival.

Now on its fourth year and as we face a global pandemic, we believe in the importance of coming together to support and keep alive the film industry through the continued appreciation and love of cinema.

The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will showcase over 100 films in the 4th Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) and will have its first online edition this year from October 31 to November 15 at the agency’s new FDCP Online Channel.
