By LCP Secretariat
October 28, 2020 - Quezon City

The Liveable Cities Philippines and the League of Cities of the Philippines, in partnership with Globe Telecom, are pleased to present the Liveable Cities Labs, a series of webinar sessions to gear up cities with knowledge and insights for designing better solutions for their communities.

For our next lab, we will be focusing on Basic Infrastructure for Better Liveability where we will zero in on basic services needed for a locality. While we discuss liveability, we must first address the essentials for living in order to determine a city to be truly liveable, consider this as the underlying conditions that must be met or the building blocks for human development, which also plays an integral component of poverty reduction since it addresses the basic needs which are primary requirements that make a city liveable. These involve services such as electricity and energy, water and sanitation, refuse and waste removal, and telecommunications, and internet services where it must be be affordable, sustainable, equitable, and accessible to all.

Join us in our next session of the Liveable Cities Lab on Basic Infrastructure for Better Liveability on 4 November 2020 (Wednesday), 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. (Sign up now! http://bit.ly/LCCLAB8BASIC) as we exchange knowledge, experiences, and insights between LGUs and professionals who works on the field of Basic Services and Infrastructure, as we work together to help strengthen the Philippine Cities and Towns to be more resilient.
